Therapeutic Approaches
EFT is an approach that is founded upon attachment principles and research. This body of research has revealed that when we feel connected, we walk more securely as individuals and within our relationships. We’ve also learned that our relationships provide a buffer to help us navigate stressful situations that come our way.
EFT is a structured approach with more than 30 studies supporting its effectiveness. Couples often find themselves having their favorite fights on repeat, which leaves them feeling stuck in a rut. The EFT approach helps couples to shift their interactions with one another, so that they can repair places of wounding, draw closer to one another, and strengthen their relationship in lasting ways.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFCT & EFIT)
EMDR is a trauma therapy that allows people to regain their balance after experiencing traumatic events. EMDR accesses the neural networks where trauma is stored and heals them, so that the body doesn’t have to experience significant distress when reminded of the traumatic event.
I use this protocol driven approach to treat a wide array of concerns including abuse, sexual abuse, medical trauma, birth trauma, traumatic losses, betrayal trauma, and other presenting issues.
